High School: Lettered four seasons at Holland Patent High School. Won the 2010 New York State Class C Cross Country Championship, winning first-team all-state honors. Helped the Knights to the 2009 state cross country team title. Won individual sectional title in 2009. Earned All-Central New York and All-Tri Valley League honors. Also set school records in two-mile run, and 4x800m and 4x1600m relays.

Personal: Born May 26, 1993. Son of Dr. Eric and Adelaide Racha. Has three brothers (Jason, Brandon, Cody). Identical twin with brother Cody, the pair finished 1-2 at the 2010 state cross country championships. Father is a dentist. Majoring in chemistry.
