High School: Ran cross country  and track at G.W. Hewlett High School for coaches Stephen Honerkamp, Eamon McHugh and Kristen Hamilton. Competed at the 2010 state cross country championships. Earned all-county, conference and division honors. Set school records for the Bulldogs in the 800, 1,600, mile and 3,200.

Personal: Son of Amicah and Joy Cohen. Has one sister (Marsha). Favorite TV shows include Family Guy, American Dad, The Simpsons and The Cleveland Show. Favorite athlete is Bernard Lagat. Favorite food is lasagna. Majoring in pharmacy.
