2009-10: Competed in all eight cross country meets. Set top 5K time of 19:54.3 to finish seventh at the Cornell Reif Invitational and top 6K mark of 23:27.0 at the Bowling Green Falcon Invitational. Placed 91st at the MAC Cross Country Championships in 25:41.7. Finished 17th in the 5,000m (17:58.53) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Placed 25th in the 3,000m (10:50.17) at the MAC Indoor Championships.
2008-09: Helped the Bulls to a third-place finish in the Distance Medley Relay (11:53.35) at the MAC Indoor Championships, earning an ECAC qualifying time. Placed 21st in the 1,500m (4:55.40) at MAC Outdoor Championships. Competed in four cross country meets, posting top 5K time of 19:07.4 at the MAC Championships.
2007-08: Ran the opening leg of UB’s Distance Medley Relay which set a top time of 12:25.72 at the MAC Indoor Championships. Posted UB’s top indoor 800m (2:16.06) and 1,000m (2:58.12) times. Set UB’s fastest outdoor 800m time (2:17.40) at Miami Team Challenge. Did not compete in cross country.
2006-07: Saw action in seven cross country meets with top 5K time of 19:49 set at the Cornell Invitational, finishing 21st. Finished 83rd at the MAC Cross Country Championships in 23:11.95. Placed 18th in the 800m (2:26.16) at the MAC Indoor Championships. Did not compete during the outdoor season.
High School: Captained two seasons at Orchard Park High School for coach Ted Washburn III. Part of two record-setting relay teams for the Quakers. Finished sixth in the 1,000m at the 2005 state championships. Qualified for the 2006 state championships in the indoor 1,000m and 1,500m and the outdoor 800m and 1,500m.
Personal: Born September 4, 1988. Daughter of Ronald and Esther Sprehe. Has two sisters (Gretchen, Elizabeth). Favorite athlete is five-time NCAA champion and 2000 U.S. Olympian Jen Rhines. Favorite musicians are the Goo Goo Dolls. Favorite TV show is Whose Line Is It Anyway? Majoring in exercise science.
