High School: Earned 12 letters and captained two seasons at Ballston Spa High School for coaches Sam Bodenstab, Christy Knapp and Richard Stevens. Named a Suburban Council All-Star in cross country in 2008 and 2009. Set school records in three individual distance events and two relays. 

Personal: Born June 18, 1992. Daughter of Dennis and Dianne Martin. Has two sisters (Lindsey, Sarah). Hobbies include playing the piano. Favorite athlete is Steve Prefontaine. Favorite movie is Pirates of the Caribbean. Majoring in pharmacy.
