2009-10: Raced in four cross country meets setting his top 8K time of 28:36 at the UB Invitational. Did not compete during the indoor or outdoor track seasons.

High School: Earned three letters and captained one season at Sweet Home High School for coach Mike Lauria. Named to All-ECIC First Team in 2008 and led the Panthers to a divisional track title in 2009. 

Personal: Born June 14, 1991. Son of Paul and Jill Hagen. Has two brothers (Danny, Jacob) and one sister (Hannah). Brother Jacob is also a member of the UB cross country and track and field teams. Favorite food is shrimp. Favorite TV show is Malcolm In The Middle. Lists Jim Ryun as the most impressive person he’s met and Alexander Hamilton as the historical figure he’d most like to meet. Majoring in mechanical engineering.
