Bulls Complete Class With Two Additions
Third-year head coach Todd Kress has announced the addition of two more student-athletes for the 2011 season, bringing the total list of newcomers for next season to nine. UB will welcome Sarah Horvath, a transfer from Siena, and Alessandra Jovy-Heuser an international standout from Germany.

The University at Buffalo volleyball team concluded a three-week clinic with the Niagara Frontier Volleyball Club this past Sunday at the Alumni Arena. Over the last three Sundays, coaches and members of the UB team, met with youth aged athletes of the club out of West Seneca.

MAC Women's Volleyball Tournament Moves To Spire Sports Complex
The Mid-American Conference has announced that the 2011 and 2012 MAC Women's Volleyball Tournaments will move to SPIRE, part of the GaREAT family, located in Geneva, Ohio and that only the top eight teams will qualify.

Bignell And Hornbaker Named Academic All-MAC
The University at Buffalo volleyball team placed two members on the 2010 Academic All-MAC team on Monday morning as seniors Kristin Bignell and Marisa Hornbaker picked up the honor. For Hornbaker it was her third consecutive honor.

2010 Season Paves Way For Bright Future
One just has to look towards the record book since 2000 to realize that the University at Buffalo volleyball team is on it way to its ultimate goal, a Mid-American Conference Championship and Top 25 ranking. In just two seasons under head coach Todd Kress, the Bulls have finished with a combined record of 34-32. In the nine seasons prior to that, the Bulls were 70-212.

Head volleyball coach Todd Kress has announced the addition of three players who have signed National Letters of Intent to join the Bulls for the 2011 season. Included in the class are two players from Indiana and one from the State of New York.

Volleyball’s Season Comes To An End In MAC Quarterfinals
The University at Buffalo volleyball team ended their most successful season since 1996 on Friday night, falling in the MAC Quarterfinals to Ohio, 3-0, at the SeaGate Center. It was the second straight year that UB has made it to the quarterfinals. Their record finishes at 18-16.

Bulls Defeat Akron To Reach MAC Quarterfinals For Second Straight Year
The University at Buffalo volleyball team swept Akron on Tuesday night in the first round of the 2010 Mid-American Conference Tournament, reaching the MAC Quarterfinals for the second straight season. UB took the contest 3-0 and will now face the second-seeded Ohio Bobcats Friday night in Toledo, OH.

The University at Buffalo volleyball team began senior weekend on the right foot Friday night, picking up just its second ever win over defending MAC Champion, Ohio, and its first since 1999. UB was able to overcome an early fifth-set deficit to take the match 3-2. The win equals UB’s win total from last season as it is now 16-13 on the year and 4-9 in MAC play.

The University at Buffalo volleyball team started Mid-American Conference play on Friday night the same way it ended non-conference play, with a home sweep. The Bulls defeated Miami (OH), 3-0, picking up their first victory over the RedHawks since 2004. The win was also UB’s first ever opening up a MAC season.

Volleyball Recruiting Class Amongst Best In Nation
The volleyball website Prepvolleyball.com has announced its top recruiting classes in the nation and for the first time in program history the UB volleyball team was found on the list. The Bulls were one of 20 programs to be found on the Highest Honorable Mention list, meaning the UB recruiting class was ranked somewhere between 31st and 50th in the country.

Volleyball Announces 2010 Schedule
Second-year head coach Todd Kress has announced his schedule for the upcoming 2010 season. The Bulls will take part in four tournaments and will have 17 non-conference matches in addition to their 16-match conference schedule. For the second straight season UB will be playing four teams who went to the NCAA Tournament last season.
