Former UB standout Aleksandra Petrova begins her first season as a volunteer assistant coach, while continuing to pursue her law degree at Buffalo.

Petrova, a freshman on 2008 MAC Championship team, graduated from Buffalo in 2011 and is 11th in school history in singles victories and ninth in school history in doubles victories.  In 2010, Petrova was named to the Academic All-MAC team.

Petrova hails from Sofia, Bulgaria.
