Career at UB

Fall 2012: Concluded the fall with a 2-3 singles mark and a 5-1 record in doubles, playing some of the region’s top competition...Represented UB at the ITA Regionals in both singles and doubles, reaching the Round of 32 in both .

2011-12: Finished with a 16-9 singles record and a 10-15 doubles mark earning first-team All-MAC honors in her first year at Buffalo...went 12-5 at first singles, including a 6-2 mark in conference play...played at all three doubles spots as well, playing 12 matches with fellow classmate Miranda Podlas.

Prior To UB

Previous College: Went 3-1 in singles at NC State, including a perfect 2-0 at sixth singles against ACC competition...also went 5-4 in doubles on the season.

High School: Attended Podar International High School… was ranked #130 in the world ITF Juniors... played the Junior Australian Open in 2009… played the Youth Commonwealth games for India... represented India in the Junior Federation Cup... ranked #1 in India U16 and #2 U18.

Personal: Born June 22, 1991… daughter of RK and Ruma… has one brother, Ratan… business major with the goal of one day owning a firm that manages athletes… also enjoys playing golf… chose Buffalo over North Carolina State, Florida State and Georgia State so she could be closer to her brother Ratan… lists her toughest opponent ever faced as Thai tennis player Noppawan Lertcheewakarn, who is currently ranked in the top 150  in the world… lists her favorite athletes as Maria Sharapova, Roger Federer and Kobe Bryant.
