Career at UB

Fall 2012: Went 4-1 in singles and 2-2 in doubles in her first semester at Buffalo...Went 3-1 at the Cornell Fall Invite, while also picking up a victory at sixth singles over Niagara...teamed up with Tamara Markovic at second doubles for a victory over the Purple Eagles as well.

Prior To UB

Previous School

Spent her freshman season at Louisiana Tech where she went 10-22 in singles, seeing most of her time at first singles despite it being her first season... Compiled a 10-19 doubles mark... 7-11 in duals and 3-8 during tournament action... Competed mostly at the No. 3 spot with 6-10 record.

High School

Part of three Champions of Madrid teams... Coached by Victor Recio, Jose Angel Cauipos and Jorge Truyoil.

Full name is Laura Hernandez Fernandez... Has one sister, Sara Fernandez... Father played professional soccer in Spain.
