Bulls Ready For MAC Championships
BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo women's tennis team begins Mid-American Conference Tournament play this weekend as they enter as the sixth-seed with a 3-5 conference record. The Bulls will meet up with #3 Western Michigan, who they defeated earlier this season.
The Bulls and Broncos will play tomorrow afternoon at 2pm central time at the DeKalb High School Courts for a chance to face the winner of #2 Akron and #7 Northern Illinois in the MAC Semifinals on Saturday. The 2012 MAC Championship will then be on the line Sunday at 12pm central time.
History is on UB's side as they won the MAC Title the last time they were seeded sixth, which was back in 2008. The Bulls won their last match of the regular season on Sunday against Northern Illinois and currently have four players in double figures in singles victories.
