Bulls Fall To No. 62 Boston University, 6-1

CORAL GABLES, FL – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team opened up play in Florida for Spring Break on Monday afternoon with a 6-1 loss to No.62 Boston University.  The Bulls picked up a singles victory from reigning MAC Player of the Week Miranda Podlas.

The Bulls switched up their doubles lineup, but dropped all three matches to a tough Terrier squad.  In singles, the Bulls dropped five of six matches in straight sets with their lone win coming at sixth singles.  Podlas overcame a first set loss to defeat Vanessa Steiner, 4-6, 6-3, 10-5.

The Bulls remain down in Florida and will North Florida on Wednesday.
