BUFFALO, NY- University at Buffalo women's soccer player Nina Connell, was recently inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS). The junior history major finished her first season with the team in 2009 and earned a 3.499 GPA in her first semester.

NSCA is an honor society for high-achieving students. Members must rank in the top 20 percent of their class. NSCS is a growth opportunity, leadership training ground, and resource. Students who join meet people on campus and at other schools they might not have otherwise – people who become friends, long-term supporters, and future colleagues. Students get the tools and encouragement they need to take part in transforming the on-campus and community-wide issues that mean the most to them.
