Michelle Anselmo to Join Bulls in 2010
BUFFALO, NY- Michelle Anselmo (Cleveland, OH/West Geauga) will join the University at Buffalo women's soccer team beginning next fall for the 2010-2011 school year, as announced by head coach Michael Thomas.
Michelle comes to the Bulls from the Cleveland FC soccer team and West Geauga High School where she has enjoyed success on both fronts. While suiting up for the Wolverines, she has been a four-year starter en route to being named to All-Conference teams her sophomore, junior and senior year and to the All-Greater Cleveland team her junior and senior year. Her team has also enjoyed success, as they have won two conference championships during her time with the team, including a district championship her senior year.
On the club side, Michelle saw her share of success playing in five state finals and three state finals with Cleveland FC. In addition, she was a three-year member of the Ohio North State Olympic Development team.
Michelle is also an accomplished student on the honor roll at West Geauga and has been named to the Ohio Academic Excellence for soccer in 2009.
