CAMBRIDGE, MA – The University at Buffalo Lightweight Eight lost to Radcliffe in very difficult conditions Sunday on the Charles River Basin.
With the team split up at races in Michigan and Boston, the lightweight crew raced with a borrowed boat and oars. The seventh-ranked Bulls finished third with a time of 8:45.9. The fourth-ranked Radcliffe Varsity Eight won the race with a time of 8:18.7. Radcliffe's Second Varsity Eight finished second with a time of 8:34.7.
The Bulls will next race at the CAA Championships next weekend in Occoquan Reservoir, VA.
