High School: Won the 182-pound title at the 2012 National High School Coaches Association Senior Tournament, beating Nolan Boyd of Oklahoma 5-4 in overtime... won the Division II NYSPHSAA Wrestling Championship as a senior after finishing second as a junior... he did not allowing a single point to his opponent through his four matches in the 182 pound bracket at the state tournament and finished his season with a flawless 51-0 record... the title caps off a two-year run that earned him a record of 99-2, with one of those losses coming in the state final his junior year... earned five letters and captained for two seasons under coach Chris Edwards at Pioneer High School... set school records for season and career wins... three-time sectional champion... also played football for the Panthers... wrestled for the Bear's Den Wrestling Club for his high school coach for five years.
