2010-11: Redshirted but was one of the team’s best freshmen performers in open tournaments, going 17-16 for the season… split time at 157 and 165 poinds… placed sixth at the Bill Harris Open (11/20)… placed third at the NCCC Open after going 4-1 (12/4)… won the 165 ‘B’ Bracket at the New York State Championships (1/23)… finished fourth at the JCC Open (1/29)... also participated in the National Collegiate Open.

High School: A four-time state qualifier in his home state of Massachusetts and was nationally ranked by Wrestling USA magazine... put up first and third-place finishes at the New England Championships and finished eighth at the rigorous Super 32 tournament... was a Massachusetts National Team member four times and won 150 matches at Dracut High School, including 48 wins his senior year with only one loss.

Personal: Born July 1, 1991... son of Charles Dehney and has one sister, Meghan...  also recruited by Wisconsin, UNC-Greensboro and Newberry... chose UB because of the coaching staff and the team... enjoys listening to music and riding four-wheelers... his dream as a college athlete is to be a national champion... will be a psychology major.
