Jessica Bogia is in her first season as assistant coach at Buffalo.  In addition to assisting with recruiting, Bogia will alo be in charge of working with the guards.

Bogia comes to UB after two seasons as the head coach at Keystone College. At Keystone several players picked up CSAC post season honors.  She had 17 wins in the those two seasons, including a 10-14 record in 2008-09 which was her first year.

Prior to joining Keystone, Bogia served as an assistant coach for the women’s basketball team at the United States Merchant Marine Academy.  While there she was responsible for the development and implementation of the program’s game and practice plans, as well as scouting and recruiting. 

Before that, Bogia served two seasons as the assistant coach at Goldey-Beacom College.  While at Goldey-Beacom she played an integral part in the third largest turnaround of the 2006-07 season as the squad went from a three win season to an 18 win campaign.  Bogia was credited with recruiting the programs top incoming player, as well as assisting the head coach with scouting, development, and conditioning. 

She also spent time as the assistant coach of Philadelphia Belles U16 AAU squad and as camp director for the Blue Star National Invitational Camp.

Bogia received a bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College and a master’s degree in business administration from Goldey-Beacom College.
