AKRON GAME STORYLINES

- Game Preview: Buffalo will close out the regular season Wednesday evening when it hosts Akron at Alumni Arena.  Both teams are coming off wins on Sunday afternoon and while both teams know their fate for the conference tournament, certain seeds are still on the line.  UB will host a game on Saturday afternoon at 2pm in the first round of the Mid-American Conference Tournament.

- Defensive Domination: The Bulls allowed just nine points in the first half on Sunday against Kent State, their fewest allowed in a half since 1998 when they allowed just nine against Oral Roberts.  This season alone, UB has already had first halves where it has allowed 14, 18 and on three separate occasions, 15.  The Bulls forced Kent State into 21 turnovers, recording 12 steals on the afternoon.

- Offensive Explosion: A suffocating defense paved the way for a record offensive performance as Buffalo scored a season-high 81 points in the win.  The Bulls recorded 50 points in the second half, their most since the second half of last year's home game against the Golden Flashes.  The Bulls went 10-of-22 from three point range, including 7-of-11 in the second half.  Four players scored in double figures, but seven scored eight points of more.
