Miami Game Storylines:
- Game Preview: The Bulls open up a grueling stretch of six of their next eight games on the road, beginning Thursday afternoon at Miami (OH). Buffalo enters the game with a 4-2 mark in conference play, tied for second with Bowling Green, and one game behind the RedHawks. Miami (OH) has won 10 of the last 12 meetings between these two schools.
- Going The Distance: Senior Nicki Hopkins moved to the starting point guard role in UB's win over Western Michigan and didn't disappoint, playing all 40 minutes for the first time in her career. She finished with six points and an assist, but more importantly she kept the UB offense running, which shot over 48% from the floor in the second half.
- February Frenzy: The Bulls will travel 3,854 miles over a 30-day period stretching through all of February as they play six road games in conference play. (For a full map and schedule, check Pg. 5) After trips to Miami and Akron, the Bulls will get a tour of Michigan, playing road games at Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan. The Bulls then go back through Ohio, with games at Ohio University and Bowling Green. UB, which finishes with two games at home, will have as many home games in February as it does in a one-week period in March.
