CLEVELAND, OH – Junior Jessica Fortman was named MAC East Player of the Week this morning following a career-high performance against Delaware last week. Fortman is the second UB player to pick up MAC honors this season.
Fortman had a career-high 25 points against the Blue Hens, including 20 in the second half. Fortman went 8-for-10 from the free throw line, while also adding five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal as the Bulls fell just short against the Blue Hens, 85-72.
Fortman is currently second on the team in scoring at 11.0 points per game and is also second on the team in assists and is third on the squad in rebounding.
