High School: Earned four letters and captained two seasons at Canon-McMillan High School for coach Lee Caffrey. Finished seventh in the 100 backstroke and 11th in the 100 butterfly at the 2011 Pennsylvania State AAA Swim Championships, earning All-American status in both races. Earned first-team all-state honors. Set eight school records for the Highlanders. Also a member of the Mon Valley West YMCA club program for coach Steve Leonardi where he was a national champion in the 50-meter butterfly and three-time state champion.

Personal: Born December 25, 1992. Son of Rick and Linda Forrester. Has one brother (Kevin). Favorite athlete is Ryan Lochte. Favorite foods are hot wings and cheesecake. Chose UB over Princeton, Pittsburgh and Emory. Lists petsitting for 14 rabbits the strangest job he’s ever had. Majoring in chemical engineering and mathematics.
