2010-11: Earned championship final points with his eighth-place finish in the 200 butterfly (1:56.39) at the MAC Championships. Also placed 12th in the 1,650 freestyle (16:12.90) and 13th in the 500 freestyle (4:37.09) at the MAC meet. Set UB’s fastest 1,000 freestyle mark of 9:32.54 in home finale against St. Bonaventure.

High School: Won five letters and captained two seasons at New Paltz High School for coach Melissa Gruver. Competed in four events at the 2010 state championships. Won nine sectional titles with the Huguenots. Also a member of the Viking Aquatic and Marist Swim Club teams.

Personal: Born April 23, 1991. Son of Ron and Annette Culver. Has two brothers (Corey Kolvenbach, Ronn Culver). Favorite foods include grilled cheese with relish and cool mint Oreos. Favorite movie is Forrest Gump. Lists Spiderman as his non-sports hero. Majoring in communication.
