Curtiss And Gallardo Earn Postseason Honors
University at Buffalo freshman Alexis Curtiss and sophomore Sammi Gallardo were recognized by the Mid-American Conference on Tuesday evening as the conference announced their postseason awards. Curtiss became just the third player in school history named to All-MAC First Team, while Gallardo was named to the Second Team. Curtiss was also named to the All-Freshman Team.

Bulls End Season With 5-2 Loss At Akron
The host Akron Zips scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth, turning a 2-1 deficit into a 5-2 victory over the University at Buffalo softball team on Sunday. The game ended the season for the Bulls, who finished with a 14-31 record and a 4-17 mark in the MAC.

The University at Buffalo softball team combined for 20 runs and received a first-game shutout from Tori Speckman as the Bulls took a doubleheader from Niagara on Wednesday at Nan Harvey Field.
