Fall 2010: Tied for team lead with seven doubles wins. Combined with Vusa Hove for a third-place finish in the A doubles flight at the Cornell Invitational. Won first-round singles consolation match at the ITA Regionals. Swept Lehigh and Lafayette opponents in singles play at the Lehigh Invitational.
2009-10: Earned Spirit Award. Tied for second with 17 doubles wins. Paired with three different partners during the spring season, playing third doubles. Teamed with Vusa Hove for UB’s third doubles combination toward the end of the season going 6-5 in their matches. Combined with George Tibil to reach the championship match of the Purple flight at the Niagara Doubles Shootout, picking up four wins. Was also 5-3 in singles.
2008-09: Finished with nine singles and doubles wins in his first season with the Bulls. Played mostly at fifth and sixth singles and second doubles. Won the sixth singles flight at the UB/Niagara Invitational. Advanced to the singles consolation semifinals at the Cornell Wicked Tournament.
Previous college: Played at Bloomsburg University as a freshman in 2007-08. Finished 11-9 in singles and 16-5 in doubles with the Huskies. Helped the team to the NCAA Division II tournament as Bloomsburg reached the third round.
Personal: Born October 28, 1988. Son of Will and Deb Zenaty. Has one brother (Jordan). Earned four letters and captained two seasons at Fairport High School. Graduated from Fairport with the third-most wins all-time. Favorite athlete is Roger Federer. Favorite food is his mother’s lasagna. Majoring in social sciences.
