Men's Soccer Return Home to Face Duquesne

BUFFALO, NY - The men's soccer team will return home for its first game in almost three weeks with a matchup against Duquesne Sunday afternoon at UB Stadium. The game will cap the team's busy week, as it will be the third match in six days.

The Bulls will bring a 2-0 record at home into its match against the Dukes, a member of the Atlantic 10. The most recent win at home came against Big Four rival St. Bonaventure, a 2-1 victory. The team is currently coming off a win in the Mid-American Conference opener at Hartwick. UB goalkeeper Nick Fetterman made five saves to register his first win of the season and his first shutout of the season as the game's only goal came on an own goal from Hartwick.

Duquesne will pose a challenge to the Bulls, as it leads the Atlantic 10 standings with a 4-3-1 record. In its most recent match, the Dukes played #21 West Virginia to a scoreless draw, and earlier in the season the team lost to #15 Michigan State by one goal. The Bulls' schedule certainly has been no pushover either, with games against Penn State, Ohio State and UC Santa-Barbara highlighting a challenging non-conference season.

Match time is set for 1:00 pm Sunday. First up, though, is regional rival Niagara. The Bulls play the Purple Eagles under the lights of Niagara Field at 7:00 pm. Live stats are available through the Niagara athletics website.
