The University at Buffalo men’s basketball team will play Manhattan at the Barclays Center as part of the Brooklyn Hoops Holiday Invitational on Dec. 21, 2013. The men’s college basketball tripleheader will also feature Michigan vs. Stanford and Temple vs. LIU Brooklyn.

The University at Buffalo men’s basketball team has signed Junior College transfer Justin Moss, head coach Bobby Hurley announced on Tuesday. The 6-7 forward from Indian Hills Community College in Iowa will enter UB with three years of eligibility beginning with the 2013-14 season.

New University at Buffalo men’s basketball coach Bobby Hurley announced his first recruit Friday, inking Deyshonee Much to a National Letter of Intent. Much, a 6-4 shooting guard, spent this past season at Redemption Christian Academy in Massachusetts, but played high school basketball just down the road in Rochester at Gates Chili High School.

St. Bonaventure’s Andrew Nicholson hit a jump shot with 6.3 seconds remaining to snap a 74-all tie and spoil the Bulls’ furious comeback at the Reilly Center on Saturday night. Buffalo trailed by 18 points with 11:36 remaining and managed to tie the game with 32 seconds left, but ultimately fell to the Bonnies, 76-74.
