BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's basketball team travels to Bowling Green on Saturday in search of its first conference road win of the season. The Bulls are 9-6 overall and 2-2 in the Mid-American Conference.
UB is looking to build off its 82-70 win over Akron on Wednesday. The Bulls were led by Zach Filzen who scored a game-high 21 points, including five three-pointers. Sophomore point guard Jarod Oldham had the best game of his young career with 11 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and three steals.
Bowling Green is 8-9 overall and 2-2 in the MAC. The Falcons are 6-2 at home this season. The Bulls will be making their first trip to the Stroh Center, Bowling Green's new basketball arena that opened this season.
The Falcons have three players scoring in double-figures, led by Scott Thomas who is averaging 12.4 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. Bowling Green is allowing just 60 points per game at home this season and conference opponents have scored just 56.5 points per contest.
Bowling Green leads the all-time series, x-x. The Falcons swept the season series last season.
