Bulls to Play at Western Michigan in Second Round of CIT
BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's basketball team will face a familiar foe in the second round of the CollegeInsiders.com Tournament as it will play at fellow Mid-American Conference member Western Michigan on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 pm.
The Bulls beat Quinnipiac, 75-68, in the opening round and will face a Bronco squad that defeated Tennessee Tech, 74-66, on Wednesday night.
The Bulls will look to repeat their winning ways from late January when they went into University Arena and beat the Broncos, 79-68. Zach Filzen had 19 points and Dave Barnett added 16 points to lead UB.
A Buffalo victory would give the Bulls just their third 20-win season in school history.
