Men’s Basketball And Football Signing Day Event Set For Thursday
BUFFALO, NY – Due to yesterday's inclement weather, both the men's basketball game and the Football Signing Day event have been moved to today, beginning at 2:00 pm.
The Bulls will host the Toledo Rockets at Alumni Arena, 19 hours following the original tip off time. For those unable to make the game, it will air live on Time Warner SportsNet and on 1230 AM WECK with Josh Whetzel on the call.
That will be followed by the National Signing Day event, which will take place at 5:30 pm at the Center For the Arts Drama Theater. This event is free to the public. For those unable to make it to the event, there will be both live video and a live chat. Those taking part in the chat will have an opportunity to ask head coach Jeff Quinn questions about the incoming 2011 signing class.
Finally, the women's basketball game that had been scheduled for tonight against Western Michigan is postponed and will be played next Tuesday at 4:30 in a rare weekday doubleheader with the UB men's team.
