A Western New York native, Nick Bach begins his first season as an assistant to the defensive coaching staff. Bach spent the last three years as the defensive line coach at East Stroudsburg. He also served as the academic coordinator and video coordinator while with the Warriors.

From 2004-06 Bach served as a graduate assistant defensive line coach at Otterbein University. He coached a total of six All-Conference defensive linemen in his three seasons with the Cardinals.

Bach’s coaching career began at Johns Hopkins University where he was the defensive line coach in 2003. The Blue Jays’ defense ranked second in the nation in points allowed that season.

Bach played defensive end in college, earning a letter at Buffalo State before suffering a career-ending injury his junior season, and was Rookie of the Year as a sophomore. He also lettered at Canisius College as a freshman.

Bach earned his bachelor’s degree in health and wellness from Buffalo State in 2001 and his master’s degree in teaching from Otterbein in 2007.

He and his wife, Katherine, have a son, Nathaniel.
