BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo has announced its kickoff times for the majority of games this fall as well as television plans to date.
At this point, seven of the Bulls 12 games will be televised locally or regionally, including all six home games.
The Bulls home opener versus Stony Brook on Sept. 10 will be televised live on Time-Warner Cable Sportsnet (TWCS) at 6 pm. The game versus Connecticut, to cap Homecoming weekend on Sept. 24, will be aired on ESPN Regional and SportsNet New York with a 6 pm kickoff.
On Oct. 8, Buffalo will host Mid-American Conference East Division rival Ohio at 3:30 pm at UB Stadium in a game aired on TWCS. Buffalo's next home game on Oct. 22 versus defending MAC West Division champion Northern Illinois, will be the MAC Game of the Week and will air on ESPN Regional.
In November, the Bulls will host Akron at 12 noon at UB Stadium on Time-Warner, while the day after Thanksgiving UB hosts Bowling with kickoff time still to be determined. That game will air on one of the ESPN family of networks (ESPNU or ESPN3). Beyond the Bowling Green game, the only other kickoff times yet to be released will be Buffalo's games at Pittsburgh (9/3) in the season opener and a trip to Knoxville to play Tennessee on Oct. 1. Both of those games are expected to be televised but are not finalized at this point.
