Sophomore (2011): Served as the team’s backup quarterback, appearing in four games... completed five of 12 passes for 41 yards.
Freshman (2010): Showed great promise at quarterback as a true freshman before an injury ended his season... made four starts and saw action in five games total, throwing for 428 yards and a touchdown in that time... was even more dangerous in the running game, averaging 30 yards per game and rushing for two touchdowns... passed for a season-high 210 yards and rushed for a touchdown on 16 attempts against Miami (OH) (10/30)... led the team in rushing yards after picking up 59 yards on 20 carries at Ohio (11/4)... threw for a touchdown and ran for a score against the Bobcats... despite leaving the game early with an injury, he rushed four times for 30 yards against Ball State (11/12).
