Sophomore (2011): Played his way into the starting lineup, playing in all 12 games and starting five... Academic All-MAC team and Academic All-District team member... led all defensive lineman with 49 total tackles (27 solo, 7.5 for loss)... finished second on the team with three sacks... started strong straight out of the gate, racking up seven tackles, two sacks and three tackles for loss in the team’s first two games of the season... made four solo tackles (one for loss) against UConn (9/24)... had four tackles (one for loss) and blocked a field goal against Northern Illinois (10/22)... ran down the Akron quarterback for a loss of 19 yards and added two tackles for loss among his six total tackles (11/19).
Freshman (2010): Saw action as a true freshman, recording nine tackles while seeing action in 11 games at defensive end and special teams...recorded an assisted tackle for loss and also blocked a field goal.
High School: Outstanding prospect with great skill set that saw him play linebacker, defensive end, tight end, fullback and quarterback while leading State College to its first state championship appearance…also started at center on basketball team…named All-Conference on both offense and defense and played in the prestigious Big 33 Game (Pennsylvania vs. Ohio)...led the Lions in both sacks and pressures.
