Hoof Prints: A rangy defensive end who runs well...earned the starting role midway through his freshman season and really blossomed...has 9.5 sacks in his first two seasons...a multi-sport athlete who also participated on the basketball, track and swim teams at Grover Cleveland High School.
Sophomore (2010): Was the team’s premier pass-rusher, leading all linemen on the team in tackles for loss (11) and sacks (4.5)... had four tackles, 1.5 sacks and two tackles for loss in a win over Rhode Island (9/2)... dominated the Connecticut offensive line, making two sacks and three tackles for loss (9/25)... had a season-high nine tackles, forced a fumble and had two tackles for loss against Northern Illinois (10/16)... made eight tackles, recovered a fumble and made an acrobatic interception against Ohio (11/4)... had four tackles, a sack and a tackle for loss in the season finale at Akron (11/26).
