High School: Earned two letters for coach Lou Petrucci at Ward Melville High School... served as captain for one season... threw out 10 of 14 base stealers, and blocked 94 percent of wild pitches while serving as the team's catcher in his senior year... academic All-League member... played three seasons for coaches Tom Downey and Brian Anderson for the Long Island Titans summer league team.

Personal: Born December 27, 1994... son of Jim and Laura... has three brothers, David, Shawn, and Jason... majoring in mechanical engineering... also enjoys playing hockey... was also recruited by George Washington, UMass Amherst, and Johns Hopkins... chose UB because of the strong engineering program... goal as a college athlete is to win the MAC tournament.
