Craig Timmons, a 2007 graduate of the University at Buffalo, was hired as a full time assistant in 2010.  Timmons had been volunteering with the Sports Performance department following a stint as a strength coach with Performance Sports Training. During his time at Performance, he streamlined their program to make it run more effective and efficient. He  has trained many professional and amateur athletes with great success. Timmons also coached the USA Paralympic Sled Hockey team to a gold medal at the 2010 Paralympics. Team USA finished the competition not allowing a single goal scored against them.
