Matt Mossberg begins his first year at Buffalo as the Director of DEvelopment for Major Gifts.

Matt’s a native of southern California and was previously the Director of Development- Major Gifts for the UMAA Foundation at Ole Miss where he secured several major gifts including a seven-figure commitment in support of the $150M Forward Together Campaign.

Prior to joining the fundraising arm of Ole Miss Athletics, Matt was an Assistant Coach with the Ole Miss baseball program. He was also a four-year letter winner in baseball for the Rebels from 2000-2003.

After earning his B.S. degree in Exercise Science from The University of Mississippi, Matt completed a M.A. in Sports Management from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa.

Matt and his wife Cheryl have two sons, Jack (5) and Pete (2).
