Doug Gnodtke was named to his current position in October 2010. Gnodtke oversees all internal operations, including business, human resources, capital projects, facilities and game operations, while also serving as the sports administrator for football. He also oversees the athletic training and sports performance departments. Prior to coming to Buffalo, Gnodtke served the University of Michigan as an assistant to the Athletic Director, assisting in the administration of football, men's and women's basketball, hockey and strength and conditioning. He also assisted in the area of Academic Services and Development and assisted with strategic planning as well as the Michigan Athletic Hall of Honor. Gnodtke received his bachelor's degree in sports management and communications and his Master of Business Administration from Michigan's Ross School of Business in 2006. Gnodtke has also served time with both the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers.
