BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo's award-winning television program showcasing the athletic department, “Bullseye,” is set for another season, its fourth year of a partnership with UB's Center for the Arts.
The show debuted for the 2010-11 season on Time-Warner Cable SportsNet (Channel 13 in Western New York) on Thursday, August 19 at 6:30 pm with highlights from the Bulls' Kickoff Luncheon with head coach Jeff Quinn and Heisman Trophy winner Desmond Howard. The show on August 26 will prepare Bulls fans for the start of the fall sports season, including a special "miked up" segment with Coach Quinn.
The show, twice honored with Tellys (given to the nation's best cable shows), will air on TWCS each Thursday at 6:30 pm and Friday nights at 5:30 pm. Each week the show will feature profiles of UB's student-athletes and coaches and will be anchored in the fall by the UB football program and in the winter by the Bulls' men's and women's basketball programs.
Along with airing in Western New York on TWCS, the show will also be available nationally on satellite on SportsTime Ohio on Fridays at 5 pm starting on Friday, August 27.
