Dugan and Kuras Named Athletes of the Week

| Mike Dugan (Rotterdam, NY/Mohonasen) of the men's swimming team won two races and was part of four of UB's five victorious relay teams at the Zippy Invitational as the Bulls claimed the team title. Dugan set the meet and pool record and earned an NCAA B cut with his win in the 50-yard freestyle in 20.16 and won the 100-yard butterfly by a hundredth of a second. Dugan also helped the Bulls to four relay wins, including a meet and pool record in the 200-yard freestyle relay as he swam the anchor leg to a 1:22.45 finish. |

| Brittney Kuras (Canandaigua, NY/Canandaigua Academy) of the women's swimming team won three individual events and was part of UB's three victorious relays at the Zippy Invitational. Kuras set the meet record and earned an NCAA B cut in winning the 200-yard individual medley in 2:01.19. She also took the 100- and 200-yard freestyles. Kuras swam the opening leg of UB's winning 200-yard freestyle relay and anchored the winning 400- and 800-yard freestyle relays to victories. |
