| Cortney Lester (Miramar, FL/Everglades) of the football team became the first player in UB's Division I-A era to record three interceptions in a game when he picked off Western Michigan's Alex Carder three times in UB's 29-24 win. His first interception in the first quarter came on the goal line to thwart WMU's chance to tie the game. He sealed the win for the Bulls with his final interception came with 1:23 remaining in the game. The sophomore cornerback added three tackles (two solo) and a pass breakup to go along with his three picks. |

| Mallory Morrell (Rush, NY/Rush-Henrietta) of the women's swimming and diving team broke the Colgate pool record in the 50-yard freestyle in leading the Bulls to a 132-110 win over the Raiders. Morrell won the race in 23.73, breaking the record of 23.87 set by Heidi Borden of Army in 2001. Morrell was also part of UB’s victorious 400-yard freestyle relay in the meet's final event extending UB's dual meet winning streak to nine. |
