| Zach Ahart (Wheatfield, NY/Starpoint) of the men's cross country team was UB's top finisher at the Stampede Invitational as the Bulls won the team title for the second straight year. Ahart finished second overall in 25:19.2, his fastest time since last season's Stampede meet where he also finished second. The Bulls placed three runners among the top five placers to earn the team title with 28 points to second-place Akron's 39. | |

| Dana Musil (Vancouver, BC/South Delta) of the women's volleyball team earned tournament Most Valuable Player honors at the Blue and White Classic leading the Bulls to three victories. In the championship match victory over Syracuse, Musil registered 19 kills, tying the school record for kills in a three-set match. The junior added seven digs and three service aces in the victory. Musil finished the weekend with 36 kills, 19 digs and six service aces in the three matches. |
