Alex Zordich was a steady hand for the UB football team in an intense environment Saturday, rushing 14 times for a career-high 83 yards and a touchdown against sixth-ranked Georgia. It was the highest rushing total by a UB quarterback since P.J. Piskorik ran for 85 yards against Central Michigan on Nov. 13, 2004. The junior quarterback also passed for 148 yards and another score in front of over 92,000 fans, while not turning the ball over once against a Georgia Bulldog defense that ranked fifth in the nation last season. |

Freshman Megan Lipski was named to the All-Tournament team at the Shamrock Invite this past weekend, recording 28 kills over the three matches. She had a career-high 11 kills against Eastern Kentucky and Notre Dame, and also came through with a career-high nine digs against the Fighting Irish. Along with her offensive totals, she had two service aces and 22 total digs. Through her first six matches as a Bulls, she has posted double figure kills in four matches. |
