Young And Roberts Named Athletes Of The Week

Katie Roberts (Homerville, OH/Cloverleaf) of the women's soccer team scored the game-tying and game-winning goals in the second half as UB defeated Western Michigan, 3-2. The freshman forward scored the tying marker in the 52nd minute and added the deciding goal nine minutes later. Roberts now leads the Bulls with five goals and three assists.

Ed Young (Ft. Worth, TX/Eastern Hills) of the football team had a career-best 135 yards receiving on five receptions and a touchdown in UB's 38-37 win over Ohio. Young was on the receiving end a 90-yard pass play, the second-longest in school history. The senior flanker leads the team with 29.8 yards per catch and is third on the team with 179 receiving yards.
