Katie Roberts (Homerville, OH/Cloverleaf) of the women's soccer team scored the game-tying and game-winning goals in the second half as UB defeated Western Michigan, 3-2. The freshman forward scored the tying marker in the 52nd minute and added the deciding goal nine minutes later. Roberts now leads the Bulls with five goals and three assists. |

Ed Young (Ft. Worth, TX/Eastern Hills) of the football team had a career-best 135 yards receiving on five receptions and a touchdown in UB's 38-37 win over Ohio. Young was on the receiving end a 90-yard pass play, the second-longest in school history. The senior flanker leads the team with 29.8 yards per catch and is third on the team with 179 receiving yards. |
