Kuras And Watt Named Athletes of the Week

 Brittney Kuras (Canandaigua, NY/Canandaigua Academy) of the women's swimming and diving team was named the Outstanding Swimmer of the Year at the MAC Championships as she won three individual events and was part of two winning relays. Kuras claimed the 200-yard individual medley, 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle titles setting UB and pool records in all three races. She helped the Bulls to wins in the  200-yard medley and 400-yard freestyle relays, setting UB and MAC records in both.

Mitchell Watt (Goodyear, AZ/Desert Edge) of the men's basketball team averaged 23.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 blocks in two games. Against Ohio, he had 19 points with seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks. He had the best game of his career against Miami with a career-high 28 points and added five rebounds, four assists, three blocks and a steal. For the week he was 17-of-23 from the field.
