Lewandowski And McClary Named Athletes Of The Week

 Jamiee McClary (Rochester, NY/Our Lady of Mercy) of the women's track and field team finished second in a personal-best 8.67 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles at the season-opening Doug Raymond Invitational. It was her first time competing in the 60-meter hurdles. McClary also finished second in the 200-meter dash in 24.71 and also anchored UB’s women’s 4x400-meter relay team to a victory in 3:59.72.

Mark Lewandowski (Depew, NY/Lancaster) of the men's wrestling team went 5-0 in his matches at the Virginia Duals. Wrestling at 165 pounds, Lewandowski recorded two technical falls and a major decision among his five victories, which included four shutout victories. He scored 49 total match points, the third-most of any wrestler at the meet as the Bulls won three of their five matches.
